When you make a recording, the heart rhythm tracing which was recorded during the minutes preceding your activation and the one which will be recorded during the minutes following the activation are stored in the device so that they can be consulted by the implanting center afterwards by direct interrogation or data transfer during remote monitoring. It is very important to understand that the device is equipped with a slippery memory, which means that it is only the few minutes which precede an activation which are kept in memory. Any tracing prior to a few minutes before the activation will have already been erased. Therefore, it is very important to perform activation as soon as possible after a symptom. Your doctor or nurse will explain to you how to make such a recording.
